I checked out the recently unveiled public sculpture in Coleman Place in Palmy by Anton Parsons. It's styley, interactive and will hopefully withstand the inevitable vandals.
We went to the opening of the UCOL photography students' show in the old admin building in Rutland St. I ran out of battery so just got a pic of Jes-ci Singh Nagra's work in the red-light vault. Then later we went to an after-party where I encountered some very weird stuff...
There were heaps of people down at the riverfront this morning with the regular market stalls, but also for the official opening of the riverfront walkway. That's Rab and George with an oar each in the dinghy which could explain their less-than-direct progress up the river. And doesn't Ross have the cutest electioneering vehicle ever?
