This journal is a documentation of art and cultural events I have experienced as a New Zealander, a traveller, and a current resident of Las Vegas, Nevada.

The Visionary
The Las Vegas Academy is a high school with a strong reputation in performing and visual arts and their current exhibition 'The Visionary' is a tribute to both the students and the teachers. Inspired by the culture of Steampunk, the students have created sculptural objects and photographic self-portraits based on the theme, along with contextual narratives.
Seen here are 'Exterminate' (with live mouse) by Morgan Dillon, 'Radiohead' by Amanda Acker (bottom left) and 'The Gravity in our Galaxy' by Aja Sheffer (bottom left).
