The Black Rebel Motorcycle Club put on a great free performance at Book and Stage at the Cosmopolitan. In fact, it was billed as two gigs on the same night, but they didn't even take a break, just played right through. The venue has an unusual design with the stage behind the bar but there are plenty of video monitors for people seated further back. The big crowd must have been challenging for the bar staff but they maintained their charm and professionalism.
