new gallery opens in Chinatown, LA

The newest gallery in Los Angeles has just opened its doors - Coagula Curatorial on historic Chung King Road in Chinatown. After 20 years of critiquing the LA art scene in Coagula Art Journal, Mat Gleason is bringing his fresh, unorthodox approach to curating shows in this two-level space. The inaugural exhibitions are Tim Youd's installation Coney Island of the Mind and images by the late Michael Montfort in Beuys in the Basement.
