This journal is a documentation of art and cultural events I have experienced as a New Zealander, a traveller, and a current resident of Las Vegas, Nevada.

Seattle Art Museum
In the entrance to the Seattle Art Museum is the work 'Inopportune: Stage One' by Cal Guo-Qiang. The cars are pierced by multichannel tubes which light up in sequence. Top right is the work 'Shroud' by Dan Webb, recently acquired by the Museum. The center two images are by Belgian artist Chris Brodahl who is described as a contemporary surrealist.
Photography wasn't allowed in either the 'Kurt' exhibition or the Andy Warhol Media Works show, but there is some great material on the Museum's website.
