Guns and Skulls
The opening of 'Guns and Skulls' featuring work by Charles Krafft and Matthew Couper at PG Contemporary in Houston, Texas.
Charles Krafft aims to make “life-size ceramic weaponry so gorgeous and patently functionless that it will bedazzle and confound everyone who sees it.” And Matt Couper is quoted as saying, “like any good Johnny Cash, Nick Cave or Pixies song, you’ve got to have sex, death and religion fueling the fire.”
The exhibition runs through to June 23rd.
