Noctilucent

I joined the team of volunteers at the Contemporary Arts Center this week, folding paper for Michigan artist Mark Rumsey, creating the Noctilucent installation in the gallery. It was a very social and educational experience, (I now know about Michigan's mitten shape for example) and Mark also gave a talk about his inspirations and previous work. The installation is on view through June 16th.

I would have liked to join in as well! Looks like fun. And folded paper is so beautiful!

Would have been so cool if you could have joined us Sandra! It is a great feeling working with a group of people to create something together - and the aesthetic of the final installation really resonates with a lot of your work.
